Why is this project so important in Bali, Indonesia?

  NA

We are located in Bali, Indonesia. An island with many remote villages that are still far from any waste removal locations. Trash is often left in rivers, illegal landfill sites, burned, or on the streets. In contributing to this project, you are supporting environmental and educational opportunities for the future of this island. Children and adults often throw their trash on the ground leaving it to be washed down rain gutters and out to our ocean. It’s common to swim and sunbathe on the coastline of Bali amongst plastic and other trash washed out to sea. We hope to start in a small way to shift children’s perspectives to see the many possibilities and values of waste.  Once both the local and expat children of the communities value the reuses and resources of waste, our future generations can impact the global impacts of trash.
